Knauf’s appointment comes after the current CEO, Hannah Jones, announced her departure, with Jones agreeing to assist through the transition. Knauf, who previously served as Communications Secretary for both Prince William and Prince Harry, is no stranger to royal circles. He also led the Royal Foundation until 2021 and sat on the Earthshot Prize’s board of trustees. However, his name resurfaced in controversy after filing a 2018 complaint accusing Meghan Markle of bullying. Meghan’s team denied the claims, calling them unfair and deeply saddening.
