Trump’s Shocking ‘PIGGY’ Insult On Air Force One

BBC Apologises For Documentary Slip; Rejects Trump’s $1 BILLION Claim

The BBC issued a formal apology to President Trump after admitting that a Panorama edit had wrongly stitched together portions of his Jan. 6 speech, creating the false impression of a single, continuous call to action. In a personal letter to the White House, BBC Chair Samir Shah acknowledged the mistake but firmly rejected Trump’s $1 billion defamation threat, insisting the edit did not constitute libel. The controversy erupted over the episode Trump: A Second Chance?, released just days before the 2024 election, where a third-party team merged three quotes and removed Trump’s call for supporters to “demonstrate peacefully.” Trump’s lawyers argued the clip harmed his reputation, while the fallout triggered the resignations of Director-General Tim Davie and news chief Deborah Turness. The BBC later admitted a 2022 Newsnight segment had used a similarly misleading edit.
