Trump’s ‘Hoax’ Claim Backfires; Epstein Survivors Demand In-Person Meeting

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein gathered outside the U.S. Capitol, demanding justice and revealing plans to privately compile their own list of powerful figures linked to Epstein’s world. Lisa Phillips confirmed the survivors’ intention to take control of a story long hidden in secrecy. The event, hosted by U.S. lawmakers, called for the release of all remaining files from the investigation. President Trump dismissed the controversy as a “Democrat hoax,” prompting survivor Haley Robson to challenge him to meet face-to-face, insisting the trauma is real and non-political. Nine women recounted years of abuse and demanded the justice system acknowledge their experiences. While 33,000 pages of documents were recently released, The Washington Post noted most merely confirm what was already public. Survivors insist the most critical information remains locked away, while the White House and Republican leaders resist full disclosure, citing the risk to innocent individuals.
