Real estate company DRA reports ₹525 crore revenue in FY25

DRA, the Chennai-based real estate developer reported a 50 per cent increase in revenue to ₹525 crore for the fiscal ending March 31, 2025.

The company is targetting a 40 per cent increase in revenue to around ₹725 crore for the current fiscal, Ranjeeth Rathod, Managing Director, DRA, told businessline. The higher revenue was due to increased demand for apartments across the city, he added.

The company’s ongoing projects include eight apartments; one villa and one plotted development the upcoming projects include one plotted project on the Outer Ring Road; two apartment projects in Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) and an apartment project in Chembarambakkam, he said.

The company, which was launched 10 years ago, also said in a release that the brand has seen traction in fast-growing corridors in Chennai such as Medavakkam, Sholinganallur, Madhavaram, Avadi and Navalur.

“We are the most active in OMR with projects in Navalur, Karanai, Thalambur, Semenchery and Thoraipalkam,” Rathod said. “Crossing the ₹525 crore – in FY25 – mark isn’t just a financial milestone, but is a celebration of the trust, vision, and values that have shaped our journey,” he added.

The company, which has developed 10 million sq ft of (mostly) residential space in Chennai, then said that it expects to add 2.7 m sq ft from its ongoing and upcoming projects.

Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services firm, in a report released on April 10 said that during the first quarter of the year, Chennai recorded a healthy addition of around 6,200 residential units, a 53 per cent qoq rise and a 13 per centy-o-y growth. The Suburban South submarket dominated quarterly unit launches, accounting for 40 per cent of the total, driven by locations such as Sholinganallur, Melakottaiyur and Perumbakkam.
