Tiruppur-based Textile manufacturer Ramraj Cotton has opened its store at the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG. Ramachandran Central Railway Station. The showroom, situated at the station’s new concourse, is the commencement of the 5-year licenced store. It also marks a strategic enhancement to the station’s commercial landscape, according to a release.

This initiative of Southern Railways aligns with efforts to optimise commercial spaces and promote the Railway’s strategic vision to optimise commercial retail spaces at key transit hubs within Railway stations, ensuring accessibility and economic viability. The store’s presence is expected to add value to the station’s retail ecosystem while contributing to the native textile trade, the release said.

At the new concourse, A2B and Madras Coffee House have their outlets.
