Karnataka’s coffee body gets a new leadership blend

M Salman Baseer has been elected as the chairman of the Karnataka Planters Association (KPA), the apex body of coffee growers in the state. M C Kariappa has been elected as the vice-chairman at the 67th annual general meeting of KPA held at Chikmagaluru on Tuesday.

Other members elected to the KPA executive committee include Yeshwant R Gurjer, Sameer Gurjer, A P Rajaram, A Namitha Rao, P M Pavan Monnappa, K P Appaiah, A Nanda Belliappa and Krishanth Chowdlu, according to a statement issued by the growers body.
