Gold continued its upward momentum on Monday, jumping by Rs 2,033 to settle at Rs 1,23,100 per 10 grams in domestic futures trade. The precious metal has now advanced for four straight sessions, buoyed by strong global sentiment and a weakening US dollar.Data from the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) showed that the December gold futures contract rose 1.7% to Rs 1,23,100 per 10 grams. The rally was not limited to the near-month contract, gold for delivery in February 2026 also edged higher, gaining Rs 1,945, or 1.59%, to trade at Rs 1,24,400 per 10 grams.The bullish trend was mirrored in international markets as well.
