Expert Leadership: A synergy of tradition, interior design, and digital strategy.
Gharano.com has launched as a premium gifting platform from Jaipur, offering thoughtfully curated hampers, festival gifts, anniversary presents, and home décor pieces designed to ‘stay’ long after the occasion, blending heritage craftsmanship with modern relevance.
The foundation of Gharano traces back to the 1980s, when Mr. Mahesh Bubber, a first-generation entrepreneur, noticed something striking near Jaipur’s Albert Hall Museum: Indian handicrafts were admired by international tourists but remained financially out of reach for many Indians.
Motivated by this gap, he established Bubber Handicrafts House with a clear mission to make authentic Indian craftsmanship affordable and accessible. Over the next three decades, the company became a trusted backbone for retailers, exporters, and art collectors across India, operating quietly but with unwavering integrity.
From Heritage to a Modern Gifting Brand
Growing up amidst artisans, workshops, and cultural storytelling, Priyansh Bubber, now Founder of Gharano.com and author of Decoding Gifting Potentials, identified a deeper challenge: modern gifting had lost its emotional depth.
“Gifting in India was once sacred. Somewhere along the way, it became rushed and disposable,” says Priyansh. “Gharano was created to restore intention, emotion, and longevity to gifting.”
This vision led to the launch of Gharano.com, a platform designed to offer thoughtfully curated gift hampers, festival gifts, wedding anniversary gifts, and home décor pieces that stay relevant long after the occasion ends.
A Family-Driven Vision
Gharano is powered by a closely aligned leadership trio:
-
Priyansh Bubber (Founder) – Cultural strategist and gifting philosophy architect
-
Snigdha Bubber – Interior designer and creative lead, shaping product aesthetics
-
Aryan Bubber – Digital and brand storytelling lead, driving online engagement
Together, they bring heritage, design sensibility, and modern storytelling into one cohesive brand narrative.
India’s Gesture of Happiness
At its core, Gharano stands for “gifts that stay”. The brand actively moves away from throwaway gifting and instead focuses on handcrafted artefacts that become part of everyday life pooja essentials, festive hampers, symbolic décor, and wedding keepsakes.
Each product reflects Jaipur’s artisanal excellence, combining traditional techniques with contemporary relevance. Gharano’s collections are curated for occasions such as Diwali, Rakhi, weddings, anniversaries, and housewarmings, ensuring every gift carries emotional weight.
Bridging Craftsmanship and Digital Access
Operating on a direct-to-consumer model, Gharano eliminates intermediaries, allowing Indian households to access authentic handcrafted gifts directly from artisan communities. The brand leverages digital platforms to pair products with cultural context, storytelling, and guided gifting experiences.
“Our aim is not just to sell products online,” says Priyansh. “It’s to create an experience where gifting feels personal again.”
Gharano plans to expand its curated collections, introduce personalization, and reach Indian families globally while staying deeply rooted in Jaipur’s craftsmanship ecosystem.
For Priyansh, Gharano is more than a business.
“It’s a reminder to slow down, choose thoughtfully, and gift with meaning.”
