Logistics provider DHL Supply Chain India Private Ltd has leased 4.3 lakh sq ft in Chennai for a rent of ₹96.64 lakh per month in Indospace Industrial & Logistic Park, Vishnuvakkam.

The lease, which commenced in October, includes a deposit of ₹5.80. crore, and a tenure of a year. The company has leased the property from Shirina Industrial & Logistics Park Private Ltd, as per documents accessed through Propstack.

Recently, DHLSupply Chain has also leased 4.17 lakh sq ft of warehouse space in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai, for over ₹32 crore, as per reports.

Recently, businessline reported that the DHL Group will invest €1 billion in India by 2030, deepening its commitment to the market. The planned investment includes previously announced projects as well as fresh capital deployment into supply chains and warehouses to support e-commerce, clean energy and pharmaceutical sectors in India.

In addition, DHL Express has expanded its operations at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, with an additional 17,900 sq ft. This expansion increases its total operational area at the airport to 130,000 sq ft. The company has invested approximately ₹35 crore in the project, which includes a new purpose-built service centre at the AISATS Bengaluru Logistics Park.
