Avante Spaces’ project receives IGBC Platinum certification

Avante Spaces Ltd, the real estate arm of the Kirloskar Group, has received the IGBC Platinum Certification for its flagship commercial development, One Avante, located in Kothrud, Pune. The Platinum rating is the highest level of green building recognition awarded by the India Green Building Council (IGBC).

One Avante, which is currently occupied by several Kirloskar Group companies, has emerged as a benchmark for sustainable workplace infrastructure. The certification reflects Avante Spaces’ focus on environmentally responsible development, operational efficiency, and future-ready design. The IGBC evaluation covered five key parameters—site selection and planning, water conservation, energy conservation, material conservation, and indoor environmental quality and occupational health—along with an additional category for innovation in design.

Sustainability has been integrated into the project from the planning stage through daily operations. One Avante incorporates energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, maximised use of natural daylight, advanced water conservation measures, and a comprehensive waste management framework that emphasises recycling and resource optimisation. These features have helped reduce the building’s environmental footprint while improving occupant comfort and well-being.

Deepak Porayath, Chief Executive Officer, Avante Spaces Ltd, said, “The IGBC Platinum certification for One Avante is a defining milestone for Avante Spaces and reflects our belief that sustainability must be embedded into the very DNA of real estate development. From design and construction to daily operations, One Avante has been envisioned as an environmentally responsible workplace”
