Bengaluru: Aster DM Healthcare has announced the signing of a lease agreement to establish its fourth multispecialty hospital in Bengaluru. The 430-bedded, state-of-the-art facility will come up in Sarjapur.

The company will be investing around ₹480 crores in the facility, which will be spread over 4 lakh sq. ft. The first phase of the project, comprising 300 beds, is scheduled to be operational by the second half of FY27, with the remaining 130 beds to be added by FY29.

With this addition, Aster DM Healthcare will take its total bed capacity in Bengaluru to over 2,000, thereby establishing a city-wide presence across all major zones and positioning itself among the top three hospital chains in the city.

Commenting on the development, Dr Azad Moopen, Founder & Chairman, Aster DM Healthcare, said, “We are delighted to announce our forthcoming 430-bed hospital in Sarjapur — a key addition to our growing network and a milestone in our Bengaluru expansion journey.

This state-of-the-art facility is being designed to deliver world-class, patient-centric care and will cater to the rapidly growing healthcare needs of the region.

“As part of our broader vision to strengthen our footprint in key urban centers, the upcoming hospital reinforces our commitment to enhancing access to advanced medical services. Notably, this will be a comprehensive multispecialty hospital in the South-East Bengaluru micro market, with a strong focus on cancer care, establishing an oncology footprint from inception,” Moopen added.
