Apollo Hospitals partners with Mayapada Healthcare to enhance healthcare services in Indonesia, ET HealthWorld

New Delhi: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited (AHEL), a leading healthcare provider in Asia, has entered into a strategic partnership with Indonesia’s Mayapada Healthcare Group, aimed at improving healthcare services across the country. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in which Apollo Hospitals will assist in managing Mayapada Healthcare’s new hospital in Batam, Indonesia, and collaborate on clinical programs in key specialties such as oncology, cardiology, neurology, and transplant surgery.

The partnership will also integrate advanced technologies such as tele-radiology, E-ICU, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance patient care and accessibility.

The collaboration will include comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals, focusing on evidence-based practices and advanced medical techniques. Apollo Hospitals plans to deploy up to 1,000 specialists, including doctors, nurses, and technicians, to support Mayapada’s operations.

Additionally, the partnership will feature educational initiatives, including online programs through Apollo’s Medvarsity platform and the introduction of a Double Degree Nursing Program. The MoU also aims to offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and international healthcare events to promote professional development in Indonesia.
