Hindu Marriage Act (25 of 1955) , S.25— Permanent alimony – Grant of – Considering that husband had already remarried, present parties had stayed together for only about two months after marriage, had no intention to continue their marital relationship, marriage had broken down irretrievably, decree of divorce was not interfered with – Further, considering facts and circumstances of case, financial status of parties, their standards of living, fact that husband had already remarried and also bore financial responsibility of his new family, amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- was awarded as one-time settlement in favour of wife – Husband was directed to pay amount within three months.
