The Lodha brothers — Abhishek Lodha and Abhinandan Lodha — have resolved their trademark dispute, with it being agreed that Macrotech Developers will have the exclusive right to use the ‘Lodha’ brand name as well as ‘Lodha Group.’
Abhinandan Lodha will have the exclusive right to use the brand name ‘House of Abhinandan Lodha,’ according to a statement by Lodha Ventures.
Macrotech Developers is controlled by elder brother Abhishek, while the younger brother controls the House of Abhinandan Lodha.
The dispute was mediated by retired Justice RV Raveendran, under the direction of the Bombay High Court.
In a statement, Lodha Ventures said, “In a significant development, the Lodha brothers — elder brother Abhishek Lodha and younger brother Abhinandan Lodha — and the companies led by them have amicably resolved all outstanding disputes under the guidance of their parents.”
Both parties have agreed that ‘Lodha Group’ and the ‘House of Abhinandan Lodha’ have no connection with each other, and both entities will communicate this clearly. It was also agreed that neither company will have any claim on the other.
