India is confident of
meeting its direct tax collection target of ₹25.2 lakh crore
($284.39 billion) for this financial year, Ravi Agrawal,
chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes said on Monday.

India’s net direct tax collection rose 7% year-on-year to₹12.9 lakh crore from April 1 to November 10, 2025.
