E-Arrival Card system: Now submit arrival details online! Delhi airport rolls out new system from Oct 1 – how it helps international passengers

International travellers will now be able to submit their arrival details online as Delhi airport rolls out a new E-Arrival Card system from October 1.This procedure will replace the traditional paper form filling method. The airport operator, Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), said the digital system will speed up immigration, reduce queues, and cut paper usage, supporting the airport’s sustainability goals. The initiative is being implemented under the Bureau of Immigration, joining other airports in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia that already use similar systems.“The new system allows international passengers to fill out their arrival information online through a seamless digital platform, eliminating the need for manual paper-based cards at the airport,” DIAL said.Travellers can submit their forms up to three days before arrival, making the entry process smoother. This comes a few months after Delhi airport launched India’s first Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) for Indian nationals and OCI cardholders in June 2024.
