Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of its latest property — Park Inn by Radisson Vellore — in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

“This opening underscores our strategy of being a first mover in tier-III cities like Vellore, where rich cultural heritage meets a growing economic landscape. This approach allows us to cater to diverse travellers while fostering new partnerships. We are expanding into more emerging cities across the country,” said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Area Senior Vice-President, Radisson Hotel Group South Asia.

The hotel features a large banquet hall and modern facilities for meetings, weddings and other events. Park Inn by Radisson Vellore offers a variety of restaurants and bars, including RBG – All Day Dining, which serves a blend of Mughlai and South Indian dishes. Guests can also enjoy meals at Heaven’s Gate, the rooftop restaurant, as well as Down to Earth and Cheers.

Emerging cities

“The hotel’s strategic location, combined with Radisson Group’s expertise, will boost the destination’s visibility and highlight its unique offerings, attracting more travellers to the city,” said Venkadasubbu Muthusamy, Chairman of Darling International, and Owner of Park Inn by Radisson Vellore.

Radisson Hotel Group is one of the largest international hotel operators in the country, with more than 194 hotels in operation and development. Over 50 per cent of its portfolio is in tier-2 and -3 markets.
