Nitin Puglia Chairman Renaissance Group wants Indian youths to grab lakhs of job opportunities available after the launch of GST

According to reports and surveys, India shows a shortage of skilled workers. According to the skills gap report commissioned by National Skill Development Corporation, most of the sectors except agriculture will require more skilled workforce in the next seven years. The reason for this shortage is that the education system in India doesn’t aim at producing skilled labors and it lacks a targeted approach to study.According to a survey conducted by the Nasscom, of all the graduates that pass through universities each year, only 26% are suitable to seek employment.

Recently the grand launch ceremony of RISE GST Online Course took place on by the gracious hands of honourable Chief Guest Dr.Namdeo V. Kalyankar, the Vice chancellor of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, at Renaissance Group of Institutions campus run by N.M.Puglia Trust. The GST digital certification course portal launched by the Renaissance Group is one of its own kind, the course has been made very simple to understand by common man and the first in India initiated by any educational institute.

In his presidential speech Dr. N. V. Kalyankar emphasized the need and importance of digital learning and online certification courses in sharpening the skills of students of various undergraduate and post graduate degree programs. Dy. Commissioner Sales Tax, Mr. S. V. Lahane, in his address expressed his great satisfaction on RISE initiative and expressed that only through such novel initiatives, can the real core idea of the GST can be spread and put to fullest use through the expert training provided by online training portals like RISE. He called upon the students to join RISE in maximum numbers and showed his readiness to come as and when more help is needed in this regard.

Dean for Faculty of Science & Technology, Dr. R. P. Ingole, in his address also insisted that the theoretical knowledge imparted in classroom teachings is just not enough to make the help students get good job opportunities. The students lack the practical knowledge even after completing their degree programs, and also because the employers today are very choosy in selecting candidates who show the skills of having the practical blend. Ms Fouzia Mistry conducted the program while the vote of thanks was proposed by Prof.PravinPhatale.
