NCLT withdraws judicial work from technical member of Chandigarh Bench amid complaints

 The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has withdrawn judicial responsibilities from a Technical Member, Umesh Kumar Shukla, of its Chandigarh Bench following complaints of misconduct and inefficiency. 

The decision was made by the NCLT’s Principal Bench in New Delhi to maintain the Tribunal’s integrity and ensure the efficient administration of justice.

The member in question had been facing multiple complaints regarding their handling of cases. Following an internal review, the Principal Bench ordered the reassignment of all cases previously allocated to the member, redistributing them among other benches to prevent delays or disruptions in the Tribunal’s proceedings.
