IntrCity SmartBus secures ₹250 crore series D, plans to triple daily trips in 3 years

Mobility platform IntrCity SmartBus has closed a ₹250 crore Series D funding round led by A91 Partners. The company plans to use the funds to enhance customer travel experience, upgrade its fleet management technology platform, and expand its network across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. IntrCity said it is on track to double its fleet and is targeting a ₹1,000 crore turnover by next year.

The brand continues to scale-up organically & profitably and is projected to maintain its 50% y-o-y growth this year, said said Kapil Raizada, Co-founder & President, IntrCity SmartBus.

The company which operates over 550 trips daily plans to expand its operations to more than 1500 trips per day over the next 3-4 years, Manish Rathi, Co-founder & CEO, IntrCity SmartBus told businessline.
