(2 of 1974) , S.482— Quashing of FIR – Prima facie case – Offences of rape and criminal intimidation – Allegation that accused came in contact with informant, became friends with her, found her address and had a forceful sexual relationship with her – Accused also used to threaten informant – Informant and accused were in a consensual relationship for several years – Both parties had a cordial relationship and there was no evidence of any threat or coercion or of promise of marriage – Informant continued to meet accused even after alleged incidents, indicating her consent – FIR and subsequent proceedings were abuse of process of law – FIR was liable to be quashed.
