(A) Constitution of India , Art.136— Appeal against quashing of criminal proceedings – Locus standi – Appellant was editor of a newspaper and he had appealed against quashing of criminal proceedings – Proceedings which were quashed by High Court, involved serious allegations of interference with judicial processes which struck at the very foundation of both dispensation and the administration of justice – It was incumbent upon Supreme Court to check correctness of approach adopted by High Court and locus of appellant would not come in the way of same – Appellant had the locus standi to prefer the SLP
