ACME wins SECI contract to supply green ammonia at ₹55.75/kg

ACME Group has secured a Letter of Award from Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) to supply 75,000 metric tonnes of green ammonia annually to Paradeep Phosphates Limited for a period of 10 years. The contract, awarded under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme, Mode 2A, Tranche I, was finalised at ₹55.75 per kilogram following a reverse auction held on July 29, 2025.

ACME Cleantech Solutions, the group’s participating entity, will deliver the green ammonia to Paradeep Phosphates’ facility in Paradeep, Odisha. The company has committed to begin deliveries within 36 months of signing the Green Ammonia Purchase Agreement (GAPA) with SECI.

The project represents a significant step in India’s clean energy transition, targeting decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industrial sectors. Anil Kumar Taparia, Chief Operating Officer of ACME Group’s Green Hydrogen & Ammonia Strategic Business Unit, described the award as a “pivotal milestone” supporting the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

ACME Group, headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, positions itself as a leading clean solutions business group in India. This contract marks a major milestone in the commercialisation of green hydrogen derivatives and reinforces the company’s strategy to lead India’s renewable energy transformation in the emerging green ammonia market.
