Mumbai 15, 2017: Digital India, the flagship program of the Government of India is pushing the country towards digitalization by connecting rural areas as well. The vision of this program is inclusive growth in areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities, etc. and many Indian companies are innovating different ideas to support this initiative and help India grow and expand.
Infyniumis one such organization that has presented a unique innovation “Cloud Wifi service of PDO’s” at the Aegis Graham Bell Award Jury Round under the “Digital India Initiative” category. They have successfully tested and productized the solution that enables on-boarding of PDOs and also allows them the flexibility to choose the hardware and internet provider. The Wi-Fi backend is cloud-based and can be subscribed by anyone willing to start PDO/ Wi-Fi services. This solution eliminates backend CapEx investment as the backend services are hosted in the cloud and the cost gets distributed amongst several PDOs and hotspots making the solution more affordable and technically simple for the PDO.
